Each year, we are thrilled to welcome new families to our POTA community. Our goal throughout each step of our admissions process is to form a relationship with incoming families so that you get to know us and we get to know you.
Dear Prospective Parents,
POTA's Action Plan for COVID-19
POTA is committed to ensuring the safety, health, and wellbeing of our children and community. Throughout the summer, we have continued to follow and adapt our program to the evolving guidelines on how to safely reopen our schools, in-person, in the fall.
Our policies and protocol have been determined by the guidelines of the CDC, Department of Health, as well as our medical advisory board that will serve to support our community as we return to school. The policies we have established at POTA allow us to offer our families a full-time in-person educational experience.
We are honored that you are considering our school for your child and that you are placing your trust in us during these uncertain times. Now more than ever, family and community are especially important, and we are deeply committed to this goal.
Welcome to POTA Admissions.
Whether your child is preparing for Nursery or Pre-K, navigating the world as a Toddler, just beginning to explore as an Infant, or you are planning ahead of your newborn, this is a special milestone for your family and we are here to help you explore our school and work through the application process.
Your child’s first school experience sets the foundation for their lifelong educational journey and relationships with teachers and learning. We serve this highest work by first supporting you throughout the admissions process. Each of our admissions steps are intentionally designed to help your family become better acquainted with our program, and for us to build relationships with you and your child.
At Preschool of the Arts, our campuses and classrooms were designed with the young child in mind. We have created a nurturing, loving, and welcoming environment where children have ownership and freedom to wonder and discover in beautiful, engaging spaces, encouraged by dedicated educators. While providing a joyful and meaningful preschool experience, we also bear in mind children’s future success, outside the walls of POTA. Our students complete their learning journey with us prepared to enter the best private and public schools.
We invite you to visit our locations in New York City's trendiest neighborhoods. Our Chelsea and Greenwich Village programs welcome children ages 17 months to 5 years; Union Square ages 6 months to 5 years; Gramercy ages 3 months to 5 years.
We are grateful to be part of this meaningful stage in your family’s life, and we look forward to meeting you!
