A summer of outdoor and indoor fun and exploration. Our Summer of the arts program offers our families a summer of fun and adventure. We provide a camp experience that is rooted in our values of experiential learning, open-ended exploration and respectful care. We provide a safe, warm and loving environment, replete with refreshing water activities, nature excursions, specialty visitors, art projects, baking activities, musicals and trips.

Your child’s first school experience sets the foundation for a lifelong educational journey through relationships with teachers as well as the learning process itself. Whether your child will be entering POTA as a Pre-K student, navigating the world as a toddler, beginning to explore as an infant, or you are planning ahead for the arrival of a newborn, the search for an early learning center marks a special milestone for your family. We look forward to partnering with you as you look for your child’s first educational “home away from home,” and enter the POTA application process.
The path through the POTA admissions process is intentionally designed to help your family become better acquainted with our program, and for us to build a relationship with your family. At Preschool of the Arts, our campuses and classrooms were created with the young child in mind and with a goal of nurturing deep relationships between all members of our classroom communities. While providing a joyful and meaningful preschool experience, we also bear in mind children’s future success outside the walls of POTA. When students complete their time with us, they are prepared to enter the best private and public schools, recognize their passion and talents, and become productive, ethical, caring members of society.
The admission process this year offers multiple opportunities to visit our campuses, including an in-person optional Open House, a small group tour with the Admissions Director, and an opportunity to share two videos of your child so we can get to know them better.

Graduates of Preschool of the Arts continue on to the finest public and private schools in New York City. Preschool of the Arts plays a vital role in supporting our graduates’ transition from preschool to elementary school.
